These graphic pictures exist because the aborted babies in these photos were killed by abortionists who were paid to ‘terminate’ a pregnancy. In Alberta, abortionists are publicly funded with your tax-dollars to ‘terminate’ pregnancies. Because abortions in Alberta are fully publicly funded, it is important to see what our tax-dollars pay for.

Minors in Alberta do not require the consent of their parents to get an abortion in Alberta. Nor are minors even required to notify their parents. That is why it is important for Albertans of all ages to understand the reality of abortion.

As long as Albertans accept the practice of abortion, Albertans should be shown the pictures of abortion.

When something is so horrifying we can’t stand to look at it, perhaps we shouldn’t be accepting it. It is important for Albertans to see the consequences of having no laws against abortion.

Calgary, Strathmore, and High River have all prohibited the distribution of abortion pictures. Of course, the real question is: why have these jurisdictions outlawed pictures of abortion but done nothing about the practice of abortion?

If abortion pictures are so wrong then why do they allow the practice of abortion to continue? If abortion is so right then why do they prohibit pictures of abortion? Afterall, there would be no graphic pictures of abortion without the practice of abortion.

Mothers who have experienced pregnancy loss through miscarriage or stillbirth (ie: not “by choice”) understand how devastating it is to lose a child. It is a loss they suffer – through no choice of their own. Because they understand how traumatizing it is to lose a child, they are often among the strongest opponents of abortion.

One of the goals of showing the reality of abortion is to dissuade women from making the choice to end the life of their child in the womb; and thus spare them from the avoidable regret, grief, heartache, loss, and trauma caused by deliberately choosing abortion.
